Your account

To create an account the platform stores your name, your email address, your phone number if you give one, and your password in hashed form (the password itself is never stored). You can add a profile photo.

Your learning records

While you study, the platform stores: your placement test bookings and their result (date, tester and assigned level), your official level and its history, your enrolments, your attendance, your tasks, the work and files you submit, instructor feedback, and the group's progress on the roadmap.

These records are what your instructors and administration use to follow your progress. Instructors see the students of their own groups, within the permissions administration gives them.

Payments

Bills and payment records (amount, due date, status, payment method and reference) are entered by the school's administration. The platform does not collect or store bank card details.

Messages

Messages and attachments you send in the message centre are stored so that conversations stay available. Administration can moderate conversations.

Live sessions

Live sessions run through LiveKit, a real-time video service: your audio and video pass through it during the session. The platform does not record live sessions.

The classroom chat is temporary and is not stored. The platform does keep a note of when a participant joined a live room.

Technical information

A session cookie keeps you signed in. For security, the platform records each sign-in, sign-out and failed sign-in attempt with its time, IP address and browser, and keeps a log of administrative actions.

While you are signed in, the platform also records which pages you open and which actions you submit, with the time. Administration can see this activity. The contents of your messages and your password are never part of it. Your own recent sign-ins and signed-in devices are shown on your profile page.

The website does not load advertising or tracking scripts from other companies.

Reviews, suggestions, complaints and the contact form

Reviews, suggestions and complaints you send are stored and read by administration only; instructors do not see them. A review appears on the website only if you ticked the box allowing it and administration published it, and then only with your first name.

A message sent through the contact form is stored with the name and contact details you typed and the IP address it was sent from, so administration can answer you.

Your choices

You can update your profile details from your account. To correct or remove other information, contact the school's administration.
